Privacy
It would be embarrassing to write this journal and then read yours.
This prototype
There is no database, no account system and no backend. Anything you type — a question to MB, a confessional submission, an email address, a poll choice — stays in your browser and disappears when you close the tab. Nothing is transmitted.
What we will collect in the finished site
An email address, if you choose to give one, used only to send the weekly entry. One unsubscribe link in every email, working on the first click. Nothing else is required to read anything here.
What we will never ask for
We will never ask for your chat history, your assistant's logs, your contacts, your location, health information, or anything that identifies another person. If a submission contains those things, we delete it rather than publish it.
Analytics
The finished site will use privacy-conscious, aggregate analytics with no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers and no personal profiles. This prototype ships an analytics placeholder that is switched off.
Cookies
None are set by this prototype. Your reading-mode preference is applied in the page and not stored anywhere.
Children
MyBotLife writes about childhood but is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
